New digital photography project

Soon I will start a new project to improve my own health. I will try to post one image each day and it must be taken with my Fujifilm camera. Everything from portraits, architecture, abstract, nature, street photos and food. It will be a mix of photos I will take on my long daily photo walks.

Old picture from an Agfa Optima from the 60s that I took 2016. On this roll I also took pictures when I was sick and after an operation but I don't want to show them because they bring up too many bad memories but now I'm fine.

More music?

Have searched through old hard drives and I have so many photographs on them so will post more old pics later. Last time I did a big music project "music makes my heart beat" I looked like this so you can imagine that it was a long time ago.

This time it's another music project. I want to photograph people who catch my attention and not only people who work with music.

I'm back ..

And I will start my new project with music theme this fall when everyone has taken their Covid vaccine.

It is not easy to take self-portrait as you get older and still have the old image of yourself that is no longer true. 

My Stockholm

   

It's not easy to start all over with your photography. My goal is to only have a web page but for now I still will be here.

Today I start a new project “My Stockholm” and it can be all from street photography, street art, food, nature, architecture, a store or a portrait. I will only use my Fujifilm X-T2 with a 35mm lens. It's light and can have with me all the time.

I will show you my town in pictures.

Mamiya RZ67, Hasselblad C/M or 503CX?

So I got a question from my brother Peter. Do you want to loan a new camera? Mamiya RZ67, Hasselblad C/M or 503CX?

Todays mission will be to get facts on this three cameras so I can pic one.

On this old strange self-portrait I´m holding a Mamiya M645 that is also Peters. At the moment I have 3 cameras that is his. Mamiya M645, Pentax 67 and Mamiya 645E. I have not used them as I wanted. Covid arrived and I been waiting for life to get back to normal and it probably never will.

I need to find a new project that don't involve people.

Polaroid - Supercolor 645

 

This is my new Polaroid - Supercolor 645 and took one test pic yesterday to check if the flash worked but I did not get a sharp picture (I was too close).

Instructions is stand at least 1,2 m from your subject when you not using the close up feature. I missed to check if I have that.

Yashica Samurai X3.0 - Half-fame camera from 1987

I was looking in one of the boxes that my dad left me, still can feel the smell of his cigarettes. And I look at this ugly video cam but when I google, I got a 35mm camera. This must be the ugliest camera in the world. I need to test it and I want to have it in my project "my song" that I will start tomorrow.

Some info from camera wiki: The unusual Samurai series was started by Kyocera in 1987 with X3.0. Samurai rejected earlier ideas about still camera design and instead created a body more similar to the compact camcorders that became popular at that time. Samurai is a true SLR image, which exposes images of half-fame (17 × 24 mm) - a format that had always been more accepted in the Japanese market (for example, in the Olympus Pen series). The Samurai X3.0 is available with both the Yashica and Kyocera brand and with accents in either red or teal blue colors. It can be seen as one of the creators of the "bridge camera" concept, along with full-screen models such as the Olympus Infinity Zoom 300.

The X3.0 has an integrated zoom lens with autofocus 25-75 mm - a 3x zoom range (the latter Samurai X4.0 zoomed in to 100mm, a 4x range). In addition to autofocus, the camera has motorized film forwards and backward, and power zooming with WIDE / TELE buttons. There is also a small "RS" (reset) button in case the camera's microprocessor locks.

Self Portrait with a plastic Holga lens

Self Portrait - I have been playing with the plastic Holga lens and this is probably some I should use for an assignment like the one in the video below. But these pics was only a test to see how the lens works. It can be cool pictures with the right person in front of the camera.

I found an old funny pic with a Holga some days ago and remembered that I need one Holga and not only Dianas (I like Holga cameras more) 

So yesterday I buy a Holga camera on an auction for 15 euro. It´s for my new plastic life and I need 2 cameras for 120 films and 2 for 135.
