Fomapan 400 - 35mm 36 Exposure 10-Pack

 

Today I ordered a 10 pack of Fomapan 400 Action which is a fast black and white 135-36 film that offers a good balance of sharpness, grain and resolution. Perfect for low light conditions and the cheapest film on the market. 

My plan is to start developing the film myself again since I don't have much money (crazy times now) and this film will make my shooting possible. 599 sek at Bruno's Bildverkstad (approx. 60 Eur) and it's really cheap for a 10-pack. Below you can see some youtube reviews on this film.

Test long exposures on your camera

 

If you're having a boring fall, my tip is to try long exposures and fall in love with your camera again. Use a flashlight or like me sparklers just for fun.

Here we go again - Olympus Mju 1

Cameras are my drug and I bought a super used camera today on an auction site for 10 EUR with the description = Color splashes are present on the camera body and the lens hood does not lock in the closed position. For that price I had to see if I can get the camera to work. He hadn't used it for 20 years so let's see when I get it next week.

Olympus Mju 1 is a good and fun compact camera that I should not have sold in the first place. 

Polaroid or Instax Square?

 

I have some old film that is expired. 2 packs of Polaroid 600 and also 2 packs of Instax Square and the big question is should I buy an Instax or a newer model of a Polaroid camera? I love square format pictures.

Instax mini - too small pictures

 

I quickly realized why my instax mini has not been used that much. The pictures are too small and I can almost only take close-ups. This camera is more of a party camera to take a fun portrait with, than do a project so I will rethink.
