Christmas Day ~ time for negative scanning!

 

Now this year's December "Christmas" challenge can be over and I will focus on analogue photography and start by scanning and posting some pictures tonight.

My future is analogue ~ part two

 

I have 7 new rolls from the lab to scan this weekend. I will start to post one analog pic each day and the first pic will come later today. So a part two of "my future is analogue" that did not last more than 6 days last time.

I turned 50 and scanned old negatives

 

Scanned old negatives and this is a photo that my brother Peter took of me on in the 90's at Kulturhuset in Stockholm with my Nikon F2. This is 30 years ago, last week I turned 50. 

I feel so bad that I have one of his beautiful Hasselbland 500 C/M and his Pentax 67 on loan. Its time for a portrait project 2024.

My new project is to sort and scan all the piles of old negatives. I guess it will take a while and why haven't I done it before? 

Digital Contact Sheets

This christmas is 4 days with not going to work. So think I will spend some time to scan old negatives from the 90´s and they are in a big mess. Have bags with negatives with no nams and date. And a lot of them is from old concerts, partys and dark ones. 

Found a good video how to do digital contact sheets but I dont have this big scanner just yet.

Brunos Bildverkstad - Stockholms best photography store and music with Kite

Brunos Bildverkstad is Stockholms best photography store for everyone that is shooting with analog cameras. They have lots of film and cool things you need and of course, very nice staff. Last week I was here and bought cotton gloves so I'm not ruining my negatives.

And I will start to develop all my film here in their photo lab. The store is located in the old town and the place for us that love using film.

This is some old neg, from some concert 15-25 years ago and dont even know what band until i scan.

Box filled with negatives and music with Jenny Woo

Took out a box filled with negatives folders and photos from the 90's. Old negativ that I have not looked at in 10 years.
The first thing that comes is the smell, even a cat can not stop to smell and it´s a scent that makes me so happy.

Now when I started to shoot more film again, I will not have this mess.
I need to organize all the negatives from the start. And this weekend I will start scanning some of the 90´s music photos.
