Lars Tunbjörk - Fotografiska 14 sep - 2 dec

Fotografiska is proud to announce this great retrospective exhibition Tunbjörklandet - this page with one of the most internationally successful Swedish photographers ever, Lars Tunbjörk (1956 - 2015).

Compiled and curated by his wife filmmaker Maud Nycander as well as the curator and photographer Hasse Persson, the exhibition shows a wide selection of Tunbjörk's combined life works. That an expression is meant that a particular quality means "en Tunbjörkare" says much about the imprint he made. This world star who has continually returned to its roots in Borås.

And this I need to see before December!

Kosmonaut t-shirt

Last year, Kosmo Foto released a range of space-themed postcards and stickers, inspired by Soviet graphic art from the Cold War era.

The Kosmonaut image – a spacesuited figure taking a cheeky snap – from the postcards has become Kosmo Foto's unofficial avatar.

Now that image is available on a new t-shirt which you can pre-order now

The shirts are organic grey cotton and the printing uses sustainable, non-polluting inks. Shirts will be produced over the coming weeks and sent out from the end of November.

Cheers

Stephen Dowling
Kosmo Foto

And of course, I want one! although it would be nice if there was a model for women with the same print and in black.

Filmtime!!

I have finally got my film back from the lab. They take forever (about a week) but its worth it, I like Bruno's Bildverkstad. Don't forget the small local stores, they are the best!
This film is with a beautiful dead fox and graffiti and will put up some pics to the weekend.

My new Diana mini and music with The Specials

I have won a new "Diana Mini" on an action site so now I can have one camera with color film and one with black and white with me. The problem is only that is the same color that I had before. So my plan is to spray paint one of them on Saturday. Will show you pictures even if I fail. Red/Black and hope for the best.

Start with a TMax 3200, the darkness has arrived in Stockholm and I will test if I still can take double exposures in darkness. I don't think it will be any good.

Halina Super 35X from 1963 and music with Agent Side Grinder

So this is the camera that I fall in love with and won on at auction today and it's a beauty, a red camera and a so hot!

The Halina Super 35X is an upgrade on the Halina 35X, made in Hong Kong by Haking, c.1963.
The same as Halina 35X but with a restyled top plate featuring a larger viewfinder and lever wind.

The Halina 35X is a viewfinder camera made by Haking in British Hong Kong. It is a copy of the Ranger 35 made by Nihon Seiki. It's quite compact but heavy. The camera's back and its bottom are one part which has to be removed for loading a film. The shutter has to be wound up before each exposure with a lever on the lens tube. On the bottom, the camera has the imprinting "Empire made".
Empire made = made in the British Empire, of which Hong Kong was the last surviving territory.

Type: viewfinder camera
Year of launch: 1959
Films: 35mm
Lens: 1:3.5 / 45mm Halina Anastigmat (triplet, front and rear elements single coated, middle element uncoated)
Shutter: speeds 1/25-1/200 seconds plus B.
Aperture: 1:3.5-1:16

Nikon camera history

I´m a big Nikon fan and what I love with my first Nikon F2 is the weight, the feeling, and the sound when you take a picture. And it's so good-looking too.

I applied for a job on Nikon a couple of weeks ago but got quickly a reply that I was too old for the job. That is pure evil but I guess that it was not meant for me.

Love Nikon's development over time and who does not want the new Z7? that is my dream camera number one!

The Nikon Z mount system draws on over a century of experience in optical manufacturing. The system's large lens mount features a 55mm inner diameter and short 16mm flange focal distance, allowing for flexibility in the optical design of NIKKOR Z lenses; with maximum apertures as wide as f / 0.95 possible. The inside diameter of the Z mount is 17% larger than the Nikon F mount-it's also larger than any full-frame mount available.

#dogwoodweek3 - Red and music with Elektric Music

WEEK 3 Artistic: Red. Shoot whatever inspires you. Red should be the focus of the image. Don't be afraid to be creative.

Red is my favorite autumn color. But it was a cold and dark day to photograph. Next week new energy with a nice portrait.
