I found a ridiculously cheap Nikon FE2 that is old but should work fine. This is from a camera store so I have to test it right away or give it back.

Many years ago I had an FE2 and the cool thing about this model is that I can take double exposures and I can use all my old Nikon lenses.

Tonight I scan old negatives and I found some from a press release a long time ago. I had my Nikon F2 and Jean Pierre Jeunet asked the if you got the pictures. I was the only one who had to stand up and say no (and I was not the real press).

I was so embarrassed but he was so kind and took his time and we went out on a balcony when it was bright sun and I could take some quick pictures and talk on my own. That's true kindness. I love the movie Amélie and Delicatessen and I have good memories from a fantastic director.

I used a Kodak T-Max P3200 and to use that in sunshine? total blackout.

Nikon F watch - 60th anniversary of the groundbreaking Nikon F camera ❤

This year is the 60th anniversary of the groundbreaking Nikon F camera. Nikon's first SLR camera and one of the most advanced cameras of its day. Introduced in 1959, the Nikon F was produced until 1973, when it was then replaced with the Nikon F2. Aspects of this revolutionary model's design can still be seen in modern Nikon DSLRs today - most notably in the 'F-mount' that Nikon retained when it made the switch from analog to digital.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, Nikon Museum (operated by Nikon Corporation) is releasing a Nikon F watch to commemorate Nikon F's 60th anniversary. A Nikon Museum spokesperson commented, "We planned a watch that you can always wear so that you can feel the presence and atmosphere of the Nikon F single-lens reflex camera that has been loved over time."

My new lens - Nikkor-H 85mm f/1.8 AI Manual focus Prime Lens - Nikon F Mount 1964-1972

So this is my new lens: Nikkor-H 85mm f/1.8 AI Manual Focus Prime Lens - Nikon F Mount.

I have been looking for an 85mm lens for my Nikon F2 and now I found the one.

This lens is older than me (1964-1972) and look as much damage as me but we both have secret superpowers. Now my F2 is complete. I have the lens, the film and I´m ready to shoot some portraits.

Nikon camera history

I´m a big Nikon fan and what I love with my first Nikon F2 is the weight, the feeling, and the sound when you take a picture. And it's so good-looking too.

I applied for a job on Nikon a couple of weeks ago but got quickly a reply that I was too old for the job. That is pure evil but I guess that it was not meant for me.

Love Nikon's development over time and who does not want the new Z7? that is my dream camera number one!

Today magic happened. I got a bonus from my company and I just realized that I could keep my Nikon F2. So now I will start to take pictures again and f-k the digital world!

So angry when my digital Fujifilm X-Pro1 only suddenly died and I hate it. The Nikon F2 is like a war machine just like me.

My beautiful new Nikon F2

Today I´m so ridiculously happy. I buy me a Nikon F2 from 1976 and it's so beautiful and it looks like no one even has used it. I´m in Love!
(and lucky I did not win the bidding on the sad F2 camera).

To return where everything began with my photography and because it is one of the best cameras I had in the 90´s. It works in all weather conditions and I love the manual world.

And I could not resist the ILFORD HP5 PLUS single-use film camera just for fun. Complete with a flash for low light situations. It contains ILFORD HP5 PLUS black and white film giving up to 27 exposures.. I'm a bit hopeless...

New camera and ninja tips for your next photo walk

Happiness, I got my DHL package with the new Nikon camera. The joy did not last long, the shutter did not work so I went and bought new batteries.
So a couple of hours later I was happy again, the camera works well and will go out tomorrow morning at 5.
Think that I will go into town and test shoot a film before I start to work in the morning, hope fora beautiful morning light over Stockholm.

My dream camera - Nikon F from 1959

The Nikon F camera, introduced in April 1959 and was Nikon's first DSLR camera. It was one of the most advanced cameras of its day.
Although many of the concepts had already been introduced elsewhere, it was revolutionary in that it was the first to combine them all in one camera. It was produced until October 1973 and was replaced by the quite similar Nikon F2 (my first camera)

Nikon F - is the camera that I'm on a hunt for right now. So beautiful design and with a F, perfect when my name is Fia-Lotta. I hope I find one this year so I can have it in my project as well.

Nikon FE2 - 1987

This is my love, Nikon FE2 and what I like most is the I can take double exposure with it and take a lot of strange pictures.

The Nikon FE2 is a member of the classic Nikon compact F-series 35 mm film, single lens reflex (SLR) camera.

It was manufactured by Nippon Kogaku K. K. (Nikon Corporation since 1988) in Japan from 1983 to 1987. The FE2 used a Nikon-designed vertical-travel focal-plane shutter with a speed range of 8 to 1/4000th second.
