Stockholm Fotomaraton

The Stockholm Fotomaraton is a photography event for photographers of all ages, backgrounds and skill levels, who enjoy the process and challenge of finding creative photographic interpretations of the year’s themes. The Stockholm Photo Marathon is an 8-hour event where participants interpret a series of challenging themes in a certain order and within a certain time.

Every four hours, participants must show up at a check point somewhere in Stockholm. There, participants get their next 6 themes to work on. All photos must be taken in order.

I need a light meter for the Hasselblad

 

Out on my lunch break and testing the Hasselblad and realize that I need a light meter and people to photograph.

FirstFlex 1952

This camera was on my desk when I arrived to work yesterday. A beautiful FirstFlex ❤

The Firstflex are Japanese 6×6cm TLR cameras for 120 film, made by Tokiwa Seiki in about 1951-55, with the viewing and taking lenses linked by external gear-teeth. McKeown lists several models, describing them as cheaply made.

And I will soon find more info on this camera and test shoot.

Lomo LC-A+

Next week its this Lomo LC-A+ camera that will be tested if I will keep or selling. All you need to think about with this camera is the distance to your object. 0,8m, 1.5m, 3m or infinity.

I'm going to do a lot of double exposures and that's why I bought this camera from the beginning. Now loaded it with ILFORD HP5 black & white film. So in a week or two I know if I have falling in love with this camera..

I'm selling some of my digital cameras today

To funding the upcoming analog project, I will be selling some of my digital cameras and what is a better night than a Saturday when people just received the salary?

And I will also selling some analog cameras, lomo cameras, lenses, camera bags and books. I have to much stuff and want to get back to basics. 

The digital that I will keep is my Fuji X-T2 with my old Nikon lenses so 100% manual and magic.

Pneumonia

I got a negative test result for Covid so that's good. Pneumonia and just a bad cold and what do you do when you are at home with a fever and cough? you eat, drink tea, sleep, look in books (to tired to read) and you take pictures to make time go faster. Tomorrow I finally go back to work..

I'm sick again with fever and a bad cold. Must be away from people until my test is ok. I've already had Covid twice so that's enough for me.

Is my GRII worth keeping?

 

Now I will start selling some cameras. I will give the GRII one more try before I will sell. I still dont like the 18,3mm lens (28mm full fram). In this book I found a challange "alphabet photography". So that I will do this week and I dont think I will put the letters in order (takes too much time). 

I will also do street portraits that was my goal from the beguinning with this camera and on Sunday I will sell if I still don't have fall in love..

Pentax 67

 

I have also loaded the Pentax 67 (the sexy camera) I only wish I had bigger arms to hold this cam for a longer time.

Negotiations

 

My last weeks have been a bit difficult with negotiations so my photography has suffered (no inspiration) next week, everything should be be completed I hope. Fingers crossed..

Soon lots of new portraits with this loaded camera. I will do my project "my song" with or without Covid.
