Do you have a dream camera?

Sure you have - we all have one.

I really wanted the new GRIII x but to expensive so I bought an older used Fuji camera just a month ago. Today I bought the GRIII x and will sell some others that I have. Why? The reason is this idiotic pandemic that we will live with for probably one - two more years. 

My whole project that I have planned is not for this world right now so I need a camera to just photograph and have in my pocket. Take pictures of my world and do not disturb people around me as I really want. So it will be much more pics of Stockholm instead and a lot of walking.

Lomo Love and music with Weeping Willows

This morning starting with -16 degrees and almost died on my way to work so took no photos.

Yesterday I received an email that a TV program would show one of my old pictures of singer Magnus Carlson from Weeping Willows and I will get some money. Just enough to develop 4 films at the lab. So now I can afford to use film this week and will be all about Lomo LC-A +. I take 2 rolls of black & white and 2 rolls in color. I will post at least 36 of each so I can fail 50% of the pictures. Lomo is about shooting - do not think! (and I'm so bad at that).

Camera Collection

 -9 degrees outside and have a fever tonight. Watching Youtube and I found a nice clip on film camera collections. The best thing is to see that its a lot of crazy collecters out there. I have sold a lot but this is what I have at the moment + 15 toy cameras.

On the way home from work I often walk through "Marabou Parken" which is a small park, art gallery and the other day this confused me a bit. The sculptyre is probably regarding how we consume or something picked up from the oceans. I have to go in the the gallery some day and check.

New film - Kodak ColorPlus 200

 

10 new rolls arrived today so I can use my Nikon and we can play with film again. This is the cheapest film you can get on the market. I have a lot of black & white filmrolls in my fridge but I wanted to play with colors and to take portraits.

New Challange - 52 themes 📸

Last week I and bought a small tripod from Hama (STAR ​​700) that I can have in my bag and weighs only 620 g. Perfect for long exposures now that it starts to get dark so early. So cute if I compare to my old one.

And I found this challenge on Youtube. These were simple themes so I do not give up and instead get to know my new Fuji X100F. It was a 52 week photo challenge but I will do 52 themes and take one by one when I feel like it.

Time to start something new

Watched youtube for inspiration and I found a great video by Ivan Chow. When he says "I am more of a listener" and this is me.

This fall I will try to take more photos again. Had a hard time with too much work and sick all the time so I need a fresh start with photography and will try some street photography.

Will replace all my digital cameras with a new one. I have too many lenses and too much of everything. I only need a small camera with a prime lens (I need less choices to be able to focus) and if I want to use film I will still have my old Nikon F2.

My Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 camera has not been used that much so I got the idea that I should use it more now and saw a challenge where you would take 5 pictures in one day to get started and this is my result.

Today I'm really not feeling well so I will have a cleaning day and go through my storage. Throw away a lot of rubbish, donate things to charity and post ads on cameras and photo equipment I do not use and that is almost everyting I own.

I´m not retro anymore when I will sell all my old cameras so I think that I probably start a new blog. Just to have someting to do..

And I will keep some old cameras that have a high value to my heart ❤

Today I felt like this little squirrel and took not so many steps that I should.

This is Harry

 

This is "Harry" my son Calvin's puppy that I'll be taking care of for a week. Today less steps. I'm not feeling well and the real competition starts on Friday (13616).

Today I was told at work that the walking competition was moved to Friday 6/8.  But I´am still walking and take some photos (16322 steps).

You can still see the smoke after a large fire during the weekend in the carbon dioxide factory at Liljeholmen and lots of steps (22252).

Fujifilm X30 in a walking competition

August 1-31, I will be having a walking contest at my company for charity that I will be joining. 

I found this Fujifilm X30 camera at home that will be perfect for this. Small and weighs only 420 gr, has many crazy fun filters and zoom 28-112mm.

And my plan is to upload at least one picture every day from my walks and this is also something I do for myself. I need to get in better shape. I will report how many steps I took for the day and what place I am in and at the end.

What is more perfect than LOMO?

 

I have a new role at my company and that will takes all my energy this Summer.

So I need to have some fun on my free time and what is more perfect than LOMO? See if I can find any playful theme in the "52 Assignments" Street Photography book by Brian Lloys Duckett. Last week it used disposable cameras and this week my lomo.
