First test roll

I picked up the first test roll from the lab this week and my new camera is working. I was really happy with the results. The lens takes sharp pictures and the only thing that was not good. It was a mistake on my part and not the camera. On the last pictures I didn't use my light meter.

And I realize that this camera will be perfect for portraits which was my plan. I will scan and upload some of the pictures tomorrow. 

Lenses manufactured for the Olympus Pen F System

I have started the hunt for another lens. The lens that came with the camera was the 38mm F1.8 and the list below is of what are available for the Pen F camera (info from Wikipedia). 

But I won't buy one until I see if the camera works and tomorrow I go to the lab with the first roll. So exciting to see how my "Diptychs" photographs turned out.

Waiting for a package from FujiyamaFilm

 

I´m back and yesterday I ordered a 60´s camera from FujiyamaFilm in Japan. Olympus Pen F with a standard lens 38mm. F1.8

I already have a lot of 35mm rolls and with this camera I have 72 pictures on each roll and don't have to stop doing what I love the most. Will use this for my big summer project that starts in June and before that I will do a lot of testing so I know this camera.

Why I chose this particular camera is because it has good lenses and I can change to others, is pure quality and that its a half frame camera.

Valentine's to me is just a commercial crap thing for all stores but this year it was a really good sale on a camera that I wanted to buy again at one of my favorite camera stores Rajala Pro Shop. So today I´m a happy owner again of a Ricoh GRIIIx and this time I will keep it forever. This is the best pocket camera for me.

I keep my film in the fridge or at least I thought I did. At the moment I sell a lot of cameras and camera related stuff. Inflation hit me big time. But I got a nice surprise in one box. 4 color films + 4 black & white.

I've been searching like crazy for 35mm color film for the past months. Now It's time to have some fun.
