Giottos cleaning kit for all my old cameras

When i´m home and don't feel so good it´s perfect to have a cleaning project of all the old and dusty camera I have.
So have bought a Giottos Cleaning Kit. Goat’s hair brush, white micro-fiber cloth, small rocket blaster and some cleaning solution, and ten cotton swabs with pointed and blunt ends. I love the design of the rocket blaster.

I try to find some good video on "clean your old camera" but the one on youtube was horrible.

but this is good one:
Quick tip who to clean your lens

How to Overcome Photographer’s Block

Went in to town 2 hours earlier when I was going to my doctor. My plan was to take some pictures, test my grandfather's old camera. I loaded three cameras and soon I started to blame myself.. that it was one of the hottest days, that I had pain. It was just that I did not find something or someone to shoot. I was totally blocked in my brain.

When I got home I remember a good book that have helped me before. By street photographer Erik Kim. Free E-Book: How to Overcome Photographer’s Block

I always have good shoes for street photography.

New cam-in strap to my camera and music with Joy Division

My camera was not broken, it was only me who did not understand how it worked (stupid) so thanks Werner (from LP FOTO) for helping to bring new life into my camera!

To celebrate that I have a nice new camera from 1959 I bought a beautiful camera strap in the store "Kameradoktorn" from cam-in after my yoga.
A bit difficult to choose as there were several that look cool. I needed a thicker model of the strap when this camera is quite heavy.

with the most beautiful details - a camera.

Find info from cam-in: It's our vision to bring out the best in any photographer and the surroundings. We do this by acknowledging the power of creativity, quality and design, embodied in our innovative camera accessories, crafted to perfection.

Brownie Starlet camera 1957

Today my little "brownie starlet camera" came in the mail. So small, cute and luckily with a 127 film so I can use the film spool.
The Brownie Starlet was a simple plastic fixed focus camera made by Kodak starting in 1957. It was one of the very successful "star" series of Brownies.

Film: 127, 4x4cm images.
Lens: Dakon, two apertures

so I'm a little confused, should I try 120 film? or not.. maby try 35mm

Yashica Minister D camera - ヤシカ ミニスターDの使い方

I like the weight of the camera in my hand and a lovely sound when taking a picture. Now I'll just try it before I can make a real statement. But it´s a must to have in my photo project.

Yashica Minister D, manufactured around 1963 in Japan. This 35mm rangefinder camera has a Yashica Yashinon 5 elements in 4 groups 4.5cm f/2.8 lens, helical focus 2.6 ft to infinity, Copal-SVL shutter (speeds 1 to 1/500 sec + B, M, X, delay action) and an uncoupled CDS exposure meter. It has a parallax corrected viewfinder.

Minister - D accepts 46 mm screw-in filters and 48 mm push-on lens hoods.

and how to use it

Halina Paulette Electric camera

My cute Halina Paulette Electric, I need to clean it and put it in a film.

The Halina Paulette Electric was a viewfinder camera with an uncoupled selenium meter, made by Haking in Hong Kong, introduced in 1967. The meter scale on the top plate reads in EV numbers, which are transferred to an EV-number window on the lens barrel, linked to the aperture and speed rings. Film speed (25-400 ASA) is set by moving the sleeve with the EV window along a scale marked on the speed ring, below the meter window.

Type: Viewfinder camera.
Film: 35mm
Lens: 1:2.8 / 45mm Halinar Anastigmat.
Distance focusing (not coupled to the viewfinder) from 3 feet to infinity.
Shutter speed: 1/30-1/250s, plus B. (Flash X-synch at 1/30s)
Aperture: f/2.8-16
Film speed selection: manual, ASA/ISO 25-400.
