Week 13 New Beginnings: Our world is full of circular patterns; as some things end, others begin.  Tell us a story of a New Beginning.

Still sick so had zero inspiration to take pictures. Tussilago farfara is a good sign that winter is finally over.

Week 11 ~ May the camera Force be with you

Week 11 Fill the Frame: Using Fill the Frame is a great way to isolate your subject and create interest in your photo. Can you do it with only one color in the frame? Fill the Frame with one color.

I know it's not Darth Vader who has the line. I just needed to take a black picture and we all need camera force to get inspired to take photos.

Fujinon XF 60mm f/2,4 R Macro 2026 ❤

My lens for 2026. I first booked a 35mm lens and cancelled at the last minute. Realized that portraits and macro are number one for me. Found this budget lens that I previously sold for a cheap penny. Fujinon XF 60mm f/2.4 R Macro.

So soon it's time to take pictures of both people on the street and small creatures.

City Faces ~ Stockholm's City Museum

In the 1860s, portrait photography exploded in Stockholm. Studios opened, photo albums became fashionable, and everyone wanted to be immortalized: maids, wholesalers, factory workers, and sailors. The City Museum's collection preserves 400,000 of these faces. But who were they?

In an interdisciplinary project, historical photographs have been linked with biographical data about Stockholm residents from 1860—1930. Using digital facial recognition, previously unknown faces have been examined and identified.

Now you can meet some of these individuals in an exhibition about photography, memory, power, and mystery.

And dont miss to try Bosco - The Magical Machine.

The exhibition is the result of the project "City Faces", funded by the Swedish Research Council.

Opening

March 11. At Stockholm's City Museum. Free admission

Week 10 ~ Hometown

Week 10 ~ Hometown: Tell us the story of your hometown. It could be a famous landmark, something the town is known for, or even just your favorite place to relax.

This week was an easy choice "Fotografiska".

Can beautiful Victoria cinema be my landmark?

Fingers crossed that it goes to someone who has really inspired me, like Anton Corbijn.

Week 9 ~ Mood

Your Artistic Inspiration this week is the mood you are feeling today.
Take that mood and use it to create art. My picture was of broken glass.
